What you can expect - 'The Product'...

In short. You and your horse is our priority.

We carry a wide range of products to suit a variety of budgets and tastes. Our most popular products are shown below. Please call or stop by for more information on products, current promotions and custom options.

We are not 'agents' for a specific saddle brand, so will bring a large variety of possible options - we will not bring a selection to sell.

Stephanie will interview you and inspect your horse. If the horse 'for-what-ever-reason' should not or cannot be fitted she will stop and explain the reason why and what next. This could be for either safety or efficiency reasons.

If all seems well Stephanie will take the horses history, take reference photographs and record a template. Various saddles will be fitted in full cooperation with the rider (and owners - Mum and Dad :-) ).

Saddles will be assessed both standing and ridden. Please have all necessary clothing/equipment to ride. Riders MUST wear a suitable hard hat and other typical riding safety equipment such as boots, gloves and vest is encouraged - wear what you would normally wear hacking, hunting or in competition.

Advice will be provided verbally and written on the 'Template Sheet' regarding possible preferred solutions. Often Stephanie will be able to have a conversation as to what the expected price is, who local stockists are, people to contact and importantly if she is aware of second hand saddles for sale. Stephanie may have saddles available for sale.

A follow up appointment is always recommended.

We also understand that (as with anything in nature) sometimes a solution cannot be found in a single sitting, sometimes not all, sometimes the solution may be complex, sometimes easy. Stephanie is mindful of this and against the accountants advice we adjust pricing appropriately. We get it. We won't always get it spot on first time and there may be extra work involved. We will always be mindful of the the time, effort and dollar equation. Unfortunately, as mother nature is involved; a fit is not guaranteed. What is guaranteed, is Stephanie will genuinely work with you and provide the best advice possible.

If you ever have any issues we do ask that you address them to us in the first instance and we will work with you to resolve it. Social media is seldom helpful in resolving something. You can however provide feedback, with evidence, to the Society of Master Saddlers.

When selecting any provider or item of equipment we ask that you to do your own due diligence. Try to educate yourself as much as possible. Again, social media is not always the best way to do this but can be useful to 'shout out' to your on-line friends for top tips. Veterinarians, farriers, body workers, physiotherapists, experienced friends, Pony or Riding Club and instructors are useful, as are books and of course the internet. When navigating 'Dr Google' please be mindful of the source, the advice and evidence used as there is plenty of good old fashioned marketing about.

I hope that kind of sums it up?
